Welcome to the Idaho State Horse Show Association website.
ISHSA is a non-profit, family oriented organization that celebrates horses of
all shapes, colors and sizes and the joy they bring into the hearts of those
around them.
 |
ISHSA is a collection of individual members and of local horse organization,
all coming together to enjoy horses and horse people through family friendly
activities.
In addition to hosting all-breed horse shows in the spring and fall, ISHSA
also sanctions horse shows hosted by other clubs and organizations through out
the show year. ISHSA approved shows are guided by the rules of competition and
conduct approved by the ISHSA Ethical Practice Review Board and provided to all
the members of ISHSA.
|

|
Through competition ISHSA individual members can qualify to win year-end and
annual awards. Awards are offered in breed specific and open (cross breed)
classes for horses shown in hand, under saddle and driven.
There are also classes for green horses and green riders, lead line for
children 6 & under, walk-trot classes for riders 11 & under, and Jack
Benny classes for riders over 39. So whether members want to compete within
their chosen breed or in head to head competition against riders from other
breeds, ISHSA offers a challenge for everyone.

We hope you will join us for the fun, the friendships and the competition of
ISHSA.
