ISHSA Awards Program ISHSA members are eligible to compete for year-end and annual awards. Points are awarded for performance, participation and achievement and accumulated through the year. Year-end awards are offered for each ISHSA approved class that is offered under a minimum of 5 judges during the show year. ISHSA publishes an approved class list in the rule book, or you can view the on line Approved Class List. Additional Year-end awards may also be sponsored by individuals and organizations on an annual basis. These award celebrate versatility, sportsmanship and over-all improvement during the show season.
During the show season member organizations are encouraged to offer high point awards for individual shows or progressive high point awards for a show series. These awards will be listed on the show bill, and questions about these awards should be addressed to the sponsoring organization. Please see the ISHSA rule book for details on qualifing for the ISHSA year-end awards program.
ISHSA Double Point Shows Each show season is kicked and closed with an ISHSA Double Point Show. These double judged shows are traditionally the first weekend in April and the Last weekend in September. These are the only shows sponsored by ISHSA, and the funds generated go toward both the business side of the association and the many programs it provides, including scholarships, awards, and educational clinics and seminars. Both members and non-members are welcome to participate. Sponsorships are welcomed and volunteers always needed. Please check the calendar for show dates and locations. Becoming a Award Sponsor
